I found energy healing when I was lost and searching for the meaning of my own life. I felt broken, depressed, and desperate. I didn't know where to turn. I felt uncomfortable in a conventional therapist's office. I wanted to shift my mindset to enable me to move forward in my life. I had just graduated high school and moved away from home. I was divinely guided to a woman who performed Reiki and Aroma Therapy. This felt more comfortable than conventional therapy. She helped me connect to myself, and the earth. I went on with her methods. And for about 3 months I went to sessions with her every week. At the end of our time together she shared with me that she felt the healer energy inside of me; that I was on the precipice of something great. I took what she said to me and put it in my back pocket, not really knowing what she meant or how it connected to my life. But I had a deep trust in her, and subconsciously I knew it would come back around to my awareness when I needed it to. 

Meanwhile I began to walk through my life with more connection and meaning. When covid struck, I moved back home and idled for a bit, unsure of what the next phase of my life might be. Searching for some kind of path to take, I began researching holistic wellness courses. I knew I wanted to further my education, but again not interested in conventional avenues. So I stumbled upon the AWAKE course with a combination of certificates that I had never seen before, something about this drew me in. I pined over those certifications until I had the ability to invest in the course. I started my pursuit of those certifications in October of 2022. I dove in and wanted to fill my knowledge cup to the absolute brim. It took me just over a year to complete the course. I received 11 certifications and counting. Enabling me to now be able to facilitate the profound type healing that once got me through my depression, suddenly bringing everything full circle. 

During my time studying I learned several important things. We are all divinely connected. Nothing is a coincidence. All healing is self-healing. True healing does not come from an unseen power or "gift", but from awareness and connection to oneself.
